Boiler Servicing and repair with Avenue Heating

Every boiler needs replacing at some time, it could be too old, no longer working properly, or it may have been condemned.

There are some common reasons for needing a new boiler installation:

Boiler Repair & Servicing from Avenue heating

A Comination boiler provides an unlimited, instant hot water supply, as well as your central heating needs.

Combi boilers are great for smaller houses, for example flats or small houses, where space is restricted. A combi boiler is extremely energy efficient and cost-effective as water is only heated when you need it and not heated and stored.

The drawback to combi boilers is that when there are two or more taps being used at the same time, there is a noticeable difference in the flow rate of the hot water as the water comes directly from the mains water supply.

This boiler installation is only a heat source, you can either use it to heat your radiators or under-floor heating, or you can use it to heat the water in your hot water cylinder.

They are similar to conventional boilers, with the difference being that they contain additional components, such as a central heating pump, pressure relief valve, and expansion vessel.

System boilers, like combination boilers, are installed as part of a “sealed” heating system, meaning, if also fitted with an unvented cylinder, there is no need for any tanks in your loft.

A Conventional boiler installation also acts only as a heat source,as with system boilers, although, they have no additional components in them.

They are sometimes installed in a ‘classic’ type of heating system, where there may be a cylinder, along with pumps to boost water pressure to baths and showers.

These types of boilers are best for older heating systems, where increased pressures used in a ‘sealed’ system may cause issues with leaks etc .
